Morrisons is helping customers make the most of the warmer weather with a range of innovative and flavour-packed picnic essentials and must-try picky bits – all at proper good value with a mix and match 3 for 2 offer until September.
The picnic range, made up of 68 summer delights, features well-loved favourites and 41 new additions, combining classic picnic items with Mediterranean-inspired tapas and antipasti dishes.
New for 2026, Morrisons has introduced a range of tapas dishes, the perfect choice for garden get-togethers. For a taste of Spain, The Best Meatballs in Sauce (£4) are authentically made with beef dripping, in a rich tomato & Fino Sherry sauce, while The Best Mini Paella is smokey and indulgent, with sweet peppers, marinated chicken thigh and peas, and It wouldn’t be tapas without The Best Pil Pil Prawns (£4) made with juicy king prawns in a garlic, extra virgin olive oil and smoked paprika and red chilli sauce.
Customers who prefer ‘British tapas’ can choose from the classic range of picnic foods such as The Best Dinky Pork Sausage Roll (£3.50) – seasoned pork wrapped in perfectly crisp all-butter pastry, or The Best Dinky Quiche Lorraines (£3.50), which are made with a tangy vintage West Country Cheddar and an all-butter pastry case, hand topped with cherrywood smoked bacon. Finish off the picnic spread with a moreish dip – try The Best Chicken Caesar Dip priced at £3.
Picky teas and alfresco hosting go hand in hand and this year Morrisons is introducing The Best Chipotle Marinated Feta (£3.50) and The Best Hot Honey Halloumi Rolls (£3.50), to pair alongside favourites such as Pesto Mozzarella Pearls (£3) and rich, fruity and slightly smoky The Best Kalamata Olives (£3). The new Cheese Burger Empanadas (£3) offer a light pastry parcel filled with beef, cheese and diced gherkins – each packed full of flavour and perfect for a one-bite treat!
