Morrisons has unveiled the highlights of its new Christmas food range, featuring over 640 seasonal delights. Among them are 340 brand new festive creations, including the launch of a curated range within ‘The Best’ named - ‘Morrisons The Best Signature Collection’.
Morrisons makers, bakers, smokers, crafters, planners and growers have been working throughout the year to prepare the range, offering customers great quality and fantastic value. From returning popular favourites and new twists on classics, to festive showstoppers using the best of British produce, there’s something for everyone this Christmas at Morrisons.
Included in the Christmas range is the launch of ‘Morrisons The Best Signature Collection’ – a new curated premium offering that sits within Morrisons ‘The Best’ range. The new collection has over 50 brand new decadent products, including several items which are perfect for festive gifting. ‘Morrisons The Best Signature Collection’ celebrates time-honoured food craftsmanship and showcases artisans’ skills. Each product, and mouthful provides a taste of luxury and indulgent flavour, delivered through culinary innovation and exquisite attention to detail. Customers will be able to easily identify the new range in store by its eye-catching gold packaging.
Christmas is about sharing the moment with friends and family, and this year, Morrisons range of party food leads from the front. The Best Signature Collection Sausage Roll Wreath (£10) is crafted with succulent, seasoned British pork sausage meat and wrapped in a crisp, flaky all-butter pastry. This showstopping wreath is hand-decorated with delicate pastry stars and glazed with egg yolk for a beautifully golden finish. The Best Prawn Coconut Curry Doughnuts with Dips (£6) bring a touch of fusion spice to the party, with chopped king prawns encased in a soft pillowy bao bun, topped with coconut flakes and served with a curry dip.
Customers can also enjoy tasty bites like Mini Naan Rolls (£3.75), Mini Loaded Chilli Bean Fries (£3.75) and Mini Battered Butter Chicken Samosas (£3.75). The frozen party food range includes exciting options such as, Prawn Bubble Dogs (£3), Crispy Korean Style Chicken (£3) and Prawn Toast (£2) - perfect for entertaining during the festive season.
Morrisons is helping customers take the hassle out of Christmas preparation with a range of irresistible starters that allow hosts to focus on enjoying the moment. The Best Signature Collection New York Deli Style Pastrami Smoked Salmon (£4.50) makes for the perfect canapé when served with blinis or rye bread. It is mild smoked salmon cured with pastrami spices, which comes with a sachet of onion and gherkin pickle. The Best Starcuterie Centrepiece (£15) includes a 3D star frame and cocktail sticks, so little ones and adults can create their own display of Chorizo de Murcia, Salame Milano, Gouda cheese and olives.
Celebrate Christmas Day with a feast to remember. The Best Signature Collection Christmas Tree Bone Steak (£30/per kg), seasoned with a chimichurri rub and rosemary & thyme butter, is guaranteed to impress. This thick cut, 14-Day matured T-bone steak brings bold flavour and festive flair to your table. Whilst, The Best Signature Collection Slow Cooked 3 Rib of Beef with Beef Dripping & Merlot Red Wine Gravy (£38) is expertly slow cooked for eight hours to help bring mouth-watering flavours to the comfort of your home. For those hosting big crowds The Best Signature Collection Giant Double Stuffed Whole Turkey topped with Smoked Bacon (£12/kg) is perfect. This traditional main is a Free Range Slow-Reared Norfolk Bronze Turkey, generously filled with outdoor bred pork, sage & red onion stuffing and outdoor bred pork, cranberry & chestnut stuffing.
