Morrisons is launching a BBQ Food Box for just £35 - so that people can enjoy the VE Day Bank Holiday weather.
The food boxes are particularly helpful for vulnerable and self-isolating customers during the coronavirus pandemic but can be ordered by anyone.
Available from today, the box will contain over £30 worth of BBQ food. This will include; 25 pieces of meat; 8 meat-free portions; 12 bread rolls; seven packs of vegetables and salads; four marinades and dips; plus two boxes of sweets. It will comfortably feed a family of four adults.
The regular retail prices of these items comes to £32.83 but Morrisons is selling the box for just £30 plus a £5 delivery charge. The supermarket will also deliver the box directly to customers' doors the next day.
The BBQ Food Box contains everything needed for afternoon’s BBQ at home. With 24°C weather predicted, millions are expected to take advantage of this VE Bank Holiday - as the UK continues its Covid-19 lock down.

Morrisons BBQ Food Box meat includes Morrisons The Best Scotch Beef Burgers and Thick Pork Sausages - all sourced from British farmers, along with meat-free Morrisons Cypriot Halloumi and Corn Cobbettes. All can be dressed with marinades and sauces contained within the box.
Customers can make skewers out of Morrisons The Best Sweet Baby Peppers and Closed Cup Mushrooms. Whilst side accompaniments include Morrisons bread rolls, baking potatoes, coleslaw and potato salad, houmous, cheese and fresh salad items.
To finish, customers can also indulge their sweet tooth with Morrisons Market Street Brownie and Flapjack Mini Bites, which come in bumper boxes of twenty-four.
The Morrisons BBQ Food Box costs £35 which includes delivery. Customers can order online through the Morrisons Food Boxes website morrisons.com/food-boxes/. Orders are delivered directly to their door ‘contact-free’ via DPD the following day.
