Morrisons iconic salad bar is getting even bigger and better, with a host of delicious new additions landing in stores – from flavour-packed sides and dressings to an expanded range of protein options.
As demand for salad bars continues to soar – with Morrisons selling around 370,000 units of salad bar tubs each week during the summer months alone – customers can now mix, match and customise even more options while doing their weekly shop.
The love for Morrisons salad bar is clear, with social media full of glowing reviews. Shoppers have called it “always 10/10, the best salad bar ever”, declared “Literally!!!! LOVE a Morrisons salad bar”, and insisted “Can’t beat a Morrisons salad bar.”
Starting from just £2.75 for a small salad bar tub, customers can enjoy quality, fresh ingredients bursting with vibrant flavours and timeless favourites – all for less than the price of a typical meal deal. The small salad tub can also be picked up as a side, as part of the Pizza Counter meal deal, where customers can choose two pizzas and one side for £10. From Monday 13th April, More Card customers can also earn 300 More Points when they buy a small salad bar tub in store.
The medium salad bar tub can be purchased along with a snack and a drink for just £3.75 as part of the Food To Go meal deal, plus the new protein pots are now available as one of the snack options.
Morrisons has also launched a new extra large salad bar tub, which is perfect for sharing with five compartments, giving customers plenty of fresh choices in one convenient container. With the warmer days approaching, this option is ideal for families or picnic days out.
With protein firmly in the wellness spotlight, Morrisons data shows shoppers are increasingly seeking protein-packed options, with Spicy Chicken Pasta continuing to be a clear customer hero. In response, Morrisons has expanded its range with new Roast Cooked Chicken Breast Chunks and Tikka Cooked Chicken Breast Chunks – perfect for fueling busy days and supporting muscle building and maintenance on the go.
These join existing protein favourites such as boiled eggs, falafel and chickpea salads, making it easier than ever to build a balanced, satisfying meal that tastes as good as it looks.
The refreshed range blends comforting classics with bold new flavours. Customers can tuck into the tangy crunch of Caesar Slaw, the indulgent Creamy Potato and Pickle Salad, the gently spiced Moroccan Couscous, or the sweet and savoury Spiced Mango and Grains Salad. A standout addition, Curried Katsu Noodles, delivers rich curry flavours with a Japanese-inspired twist – the perfect base to elevate any bowl.
