As a responsible retailer we understand that our customers and stakeholders expect us to be transparent about how we operate. We work closely with our suppliers to ensure they operate in a responsible manner, and want to make it possible for customers and civil society organisations to raise concerns directly with us. We have therefore taken the decision to publish details of all first tier factories producing our Nutmeg branded range of clothing and our own-brand food and non-food products.

We are committed to continually increasing transparency of our supply chains where this is practical and appropriate, and will publish supply chain detail across additional 3 high risk food categories by the end of 2022, starting with Tea and Seafood.

Nutmeg Clothing

This includes detail on all our first tier manufacturing sites, which together produce over 35 million items of Nutmeg clothing. This list was last updated in November 2022.

Own-Brand Food, Homewares, Health and Beauty

This list includes our centrally managed first tier manufacturing sites for Morrisons own-brand food, home, health and beauty products. This list was last updated in September 2023.

Tea

In 2021 we contributed to the Tea Transparency Tracker project undertaken by the Business and Human Rights Resource Centre. More information can be found at https://www.business-humanrights.org/en/from-us/tea-transparency-tracker/. Details of all the plantations and estates in our own-brand Tea supply chain can be found here. This list was last updated in February 2023.

Seafood

Morrisons supports the  Ocean Disclosure Project (ODP) and publicly shares details of our seafood supply chains in line with ODP guidance. Full detail can be found here: https://oceandisclosureproject.org/companies/morrisons
