Morrisons has announced that it has appointed Darren Blackhurst as Group Commercial Director.
Darren joins Morrisons from B&Q, where he is Commercial Director. Previously he was Chief Executive of Matalan, Chief Merchandising Officer of Asda and he began his career at Tesco.
He will be on the Executive Committee with responsibility for all trading functions.
David Potts, Chief Executive of Morrisons said:

Andrew Pleasance will continue as Interim Trading Director until Darren arrives when there will be a handover of responsibilities.
